Enio Meira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mário Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Danilo Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Benedito Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Itapoama FC's Armandinho Jacinto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Dorian Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Itapoama FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Figueiredo came free, but Danilo Eger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Itapoama FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Salgado to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Itapoama FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Tiago Paraíba hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Dorian Linares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mário Figueiredo in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danilo Eger saved Itapoama FC from getting behind. In the 30th match minute, Itapoama FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieguinho Leme to maneuver through the defense. Elano Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Jonas Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruninho Damião having to interfere. A collision led to Diaurum getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Tostão Costa hit a great ball. Dieguinho Leme succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 47th playminute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonas Abreu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mário Figueiredo succeeded in the game's 54th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Itapoama FC's Joel Salgado got his second yellow card of the match in the 57th minute. The referee ordered Joel Salgado off the ground. The audience was convinced that Mário Figueiredo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danilo Eger was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. When Armandinho Jacinto fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
