After a rather tough play, Diaurum's Enio Meira got a free kick in the 15th minute. Vinagre FC's Tomé Mattos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Diaurum. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo José Cruz in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruninho Damião prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Betinho Nóbrega succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 25th playminute. Betinho Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jano Donato having to interfere. Wiliam Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruninho Damião having to interfere. In the 38th minute Wiliam Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruninho Damião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Vinagre FC booed when Diaurum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedito Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Betinho Nóbrega's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jano Donato read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Bruninho Damião showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benedito Cordeiro during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Betinho Nóbrega charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Betinho Nóbrega the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Diaurum getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Betinho Nóbrega hit a great ball. In the 97th minute, Diaurum's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Paulo José Cruz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Vinagre FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
