Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Válter Faria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enio Tavares having to make a save. Gilson de Almeida might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enio Tavares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilson de Almeida ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 3rdth minute of the game Gilson de Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tamandua SS's Enio Tavares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcel Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Enio Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 9 minutes of play, Tomasina AD's Válter Faria made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enio Tavares was left in no man's land by his defense there! 13 minutes into the game, Tomasina AD's Marcel Marinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enio Tavares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Júlio de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Rodrigo Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durval Alagoano in the 19th minute of play. Rodrigo Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durval Alagoano in the 24th minute of the match. If Marcel Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durval Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, Válter Faria made a precise shot to the right of Enio Tavares. Tamandua SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After the first half Tomasina AD were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Válter Faria took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enio Tavares. Enio Tavares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Lopes in the 58th minute of play forced Tomasina AD's goalkeeper Rodrigo Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomasina AD's Rodrigo Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durval Alagoano in the 65th minute of play. Rodrigo Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Bastos in the 66th minute of play. Rodrigo Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diamantino Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodrigo Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Lopes in the 71st minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Tomasina AD's goal looked a bit too open when Durval Alagoano came free, but Rodrigo Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Diamantino Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Durval Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Tomasina AD's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Bastos came free, but Rodrigo Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 minutes of play, Tamandua SS's Júlio de Moraes made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Prestes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 95 minutes into the game, Tamandua SS's Durval Alagoano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrigo Prestes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. The Tamandua SS manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Tomasina AD to win.
