The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Claraval FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa Cardozo came free, but Toninho Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Sérgio Sabóia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Percival Meireles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 22 minutes into the match, ★cнσvєiяσ★'s goal looked a bit too open when Sérgio Sabóia came free, but Percival Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Gaúcho scored 0-3 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Percival Meireles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Claraval FC's Rogério Monteiro got a free kick in the 40th minute. Rafa Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Toninho Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severino Munhoz during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Percival Meireles came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Claraval FC's Sérgio Sabóia. But to his dismay, Sérgio Sabóia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After the first half Claraval FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sérgio Sabóia to make the kick off. Percival Meireles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sérgio Sabóia's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Percival Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Sabóia, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Diguinho Carneiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Toninho Paiva. Claraval FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Edgar Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Percival Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgar Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percival Meireles having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Claraval FC's Sérgio Sabóia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. In the 74th minute, ★cнσvєiяσ★'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sérgio Sabóia fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Edgar Gaúcho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Percival Meireles having to make a save. In the 95th match minute, Claraval FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. Claraval FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
