Caco Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diguinho Carneiro hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 24 minutes ★cнσvєiяσ★'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Natã Tepedino who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Natã Tepedino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ★cнσvєiяσ★'s Percival Meireles did a great save. Rafa Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar Mandrak having to interfere. After some careless play in the S.C SILVAO O RETORNO defense, Remo de Salles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdemar Mandrak. The S.C SILVAO O RETORNO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdemar Mandrak should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in ★cнσvєiяσ★'s zone, Germano Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Percival Meireles came out of the goal and Germano Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Remo de Salles was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 47th minute. ★cнσvєiяσ★'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafa Cardozo to make the kick off. Valdemar Mandrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafa Cardozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Percival Meireles made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Caco Dantas sent off a good shot on target. Caco Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percival Meireles having to interfere. Denílson Cardozo's late challenge caught a ★cнσvєiяσ★'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denílson Cardozo helped the player get up and apologised. After 61 played minutes S.C SILVAO O RETORNO got a freekick which was hit by Denílson Cardozo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remo de Salles in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdemar Mandrak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Denílson Cardozo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. The supporters of ★cнσvєiяσ★ booed when S.C SILVAO O RETORNO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denílson Cardozo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdemar Mandrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafa Cardozo in the 69th minute of the match. When Caco Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the S.C SILVAO O RETORNO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caco Dantas couldn't finish the play. If Caco Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vágner Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Percival Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
