Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rony Couto took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, César Custódio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Severino Linares managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when VIEZZER F. C.'s Marquinhos da Silveira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Lajeiro's zone, Rony Couto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Linares came out of the goal and Rony Couto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute Umberto Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Décio Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Rony Couto took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Severino Linares to make any attempt to save it. Marquinhos da Silveira in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Severino Linares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Severino Linares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rony Couto went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. VIEZZER F. C.'s Marquinhos da Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marquinhos da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Linares having to interfere. Severino Linares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rony Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Marquinhos da Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VIEZZER F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Marquinhos da Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rony Couto in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severino Linares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The supporters of VIEZZER F. C. booed when Lajeiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hílton Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Lajeiro's goal looked a bit too open when Rony Couto came free, but Severino Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marquinhos da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marquinhos da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Linares having to interfere. If Umberto Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Décio Quadros was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Afonsinho Pirani capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Afonsinho Pirani really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Afonsinho Pirani in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Décio Quadros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 83rd minute, Luís Arantes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Paulo Domingues hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. When VIEZZER F.
