Horácio Mangueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudinho Gomes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Horácio Mangueira ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Evandro Botelho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudinho Gomes was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. In the 82nd minute, Horácio Mangueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
