Genílson Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílton Custódio having to interfere. Manfredo Fantini hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. If Genílson Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Pedro Macedo struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Amílton Custódio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Davinopolis EC. Zé Pedro Macedo took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amílton Custódio. Amílton Custódio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Amílton Custódio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Pedro Macedo in the 23rd minute of play. Genílson Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Pedro Macedo scored 0-3 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amílton Custódio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Amílton Custódio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gernando Soeiro in the 33rd minute of the match. After having played for 36 minutes, Genílson Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Davinopolis EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genílson Moreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genílson Moreira in the 39th minute of play forced Suspiro's goalkeeper Amílton Custódio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Zé Pedro Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Pedro Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Amílton Custódio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genílson Moreira might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amílton Custódio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Genílson Moreira ran back to his position shaking his head. The Suspiro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Davinopolis EC were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when André Furlan made the kick off in the second half. André Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Tasso having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Zé Pedro Macedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vito Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Anselmo Brasil kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute of the match Edgard Pimenta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diego Tasso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Diego Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Tinoco in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Manfredo Baiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Davinopolis EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Suspiro the free kick. A collision led to Davinopolis EC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Manfredo Baiano hit a great ball. In the 68th minute Edgard Pimenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filipe Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Furlan in the 72nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Suspiro's Amílton Custódio got control of the ball when Genílson Moreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Davinopolis EC's Diego Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Furlan in the 90th minute of play. Davinopolis EC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
