Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Tony Quaresma started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Tony Quaresma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jano Loyola having to interfere. Tibúrcio Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toninho Tepedino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jano Loyola. Real Sociedad's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 23rd minute Adelino Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tibúrcio Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cássio Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibúrcio Fernandez having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Real Sociedad got a freekick which was hit by Nildo Freitas. If Adelino Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Euriapolis SC's Renatinho de Queirós got a free kick in the 36th minute. Tibúrcio Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the game, Aílton Passos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Euriapolis SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Sociedad the free kick. After a rather tough play, Euriapolis SC's Aílton Passos got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Kauã Santana tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Tibúrcio Fernandez. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adelino Luz made a kick off. Adelino Luz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd match minute, Real Sociedad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josué Nunes to maneuver through the defense. César Proença received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Jano Loyola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cássio Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tony Quaresma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jano Loyola having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Carlinhos Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jano Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony Quaresma took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jano Loyola. Jano Loyola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jano Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlinhos Dias in the 71st minute of the match. Tony Quaresma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jano Loyola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Tony Quaresma charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tony Quaresma the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. It was beautiful to see Euriapolis SC's Renatinho de Queirós in action when he in the 86th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Jano Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Quaresma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90 played minutes Real Sociedad got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Montenegro. Tony Quaresma did an outstanding performance 92 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-1 to the right of an irritated Jano Loyola in the goal. Tibúrcio Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Luz in the 96th minute of the match. Real Sociedad's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
