Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dorian Valadares made the kick off which started today's match. In the 17th minute Renatinho de Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomé Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aírton Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibúrcio Fernandez having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Dionisio's Dorian Valadares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tibúrcio Fernandez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Tomé Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Quaresma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Jaime Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tony Quaresma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tony Quaresma came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Euriapolis SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony Quaresma couldn't finish the play. When Dionisio's Dorian Valadares in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Euriapolis SC's goalie prevented a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tony Quaresma was the one to do the kick off. Aírton Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibúrcio Fernandez having to interfere. Aírton Fernandes took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tibúrcio Fernandez. Tibúrcio Fernandez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The supporters of Dionisio booed when Euriapolis SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Quaresma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aírton Fernandes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tibúrcio Fernandez having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Dionisio's zone, Tony Quaresma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomé Paraense came out of the goal and Tony Quaresma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute Tony Quaresma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomé Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute Jorge de Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tibúrcio Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emerson Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tibúrcio Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge de Amaral in the 89th minute of the match. Tomé Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Quaresma, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After 93 played minutes Euriapolis SC got a freekick which was hit by Renatinho de Queirós. Paulo José Vinhas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
