Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Grêmio Esportivo Brasil's Délio Braga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateus Baiano got free with Luiz Fabiano Palmeira in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes into the game, Paulo José Bertassi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grêmio Esportivo Brasil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dragão Tiamat the free kick. 8 minutes into the game, Dragão Tiamat's Mateus Baiano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Fabiano Palmeira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Jonathan Gaspar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Délio Braga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Délio Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wanderson Koehler took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Gaspar. Dragão Tiamat's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mateus Baiano struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Luiz Fabiano Palmeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dragão Tiamat. Délio Braga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Délio Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Gaspar having to interfere. In the 40th minute Délio Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aírton Sabóia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Gaspar having to interfere. Chico Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Luiz Fabiano Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chico Alcântara to strike the kick off in the second half. When Délio Braga came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Grêmio Esportivo Brasil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Délio Braga couldn't finish the play. After having played for 63 minutes, Mateus Baiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dragão Tiamat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateus Baiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chico Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fabiano Palmeira having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Dragão Tiamat's zone, Délio Braga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Gaspar came out of the goal and Délio Braga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aírton Sabóia struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Jonathan Gaspar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grêmio Esportivo Brasil. After 83 played minutes Dragão Tiamat got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Gomes. Délio Braga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Délio Braga in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Aírton Sabóia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grêmio Esportivo Brasil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
