Mateus Baiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tião Carioca came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Dragão Tiamat's Marcelinho Leal. But to his dismay, Marcelinho Leal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Zbyszek Cerocki struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Jonathan Gaspar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blumenau Esporte Clube. Joaquim Trindade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zbyszek Cerocki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamin Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Zbyszek Cerocki got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute Marcus Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernani Ferraz hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute Waldir Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tião Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Trindade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zbyszek Cerocki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Gaspar having to make a save. Zbyszek Cerocki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Gaspar having to interfere. Joaquim Trindade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chico Alcântara to make the kick off. A collision led to Dragão Tiamat getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Chico Alcântara hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the match, Blumenau Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Tião Carioca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateus Baiano. Tião Carioca came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Dragão Tiamat's Waldir Recife. But to his dismay, Waldir Recife quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 62nd minute Zbyszek Cerocki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Zbyszek Cerocki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Gaspar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 69 minutes, Zbyszek Cerocki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blumenau Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zbyszek Cerocki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelinho Leal took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tião Carioca. Tião Carioca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When Blumenau Esporte Clube's Joaquim Trindade in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dragão Tiamat's goalie prevented a goal. After 77 minutes, Joaquim Trindade made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Dragão Tiamat's Jonathan Gaspar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Gaspar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joaquim Trindade went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Marcelinho Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. If Zbyszek Cerocki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Blumenau Esporte Clube lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
