Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Caieiras FC's David Furlan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. David Furlan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fábio de Castro came out and tried to block the shot, but David Furlan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. After 7 minutes, Vânderson Toscano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caieiras FC and the DEPORTIVO LANA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Caieiras FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Vânderson Toscano hit a great ball. Fellipe Sergipano hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. José Augusto Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute, Yuri Messias made a precise shot to the right of Fábio de Castro. DEPORTIVO LANA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Paulo Renato Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yuri Messias got free with Fábio de Castro in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nilton de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Renato Gaspar in the 35th minute of the match. When Chicão Carvalho fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caieiras FC's protests and gave Chicão Carvalho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Chicão Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. DEPORTIVO LANA's Paulo Renato Gaspar got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Paulo Renato Gaspar made the kick off in the second half. When Yuri Messias came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Caieiras FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yuri Messias couldn't finish the play. Fábio de Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Rezende, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 67 minutes DEPORTIVO LANA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valdomiro Batista who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Valdomiro Batista almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DEPORTIVO LANA's Fábio de Castro did a great save. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind DEPORTIVO LANA's goalkeeper Fábio de Castro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yuri Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio de Castro having to interfere. When José Augusto Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the DEPORTIVO LANA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Augusto Lopes couldn't finish the play. After 97 minutes of play, Caieiras FC's David Furlan made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fábio de Castro was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the DEPORTIVO LANA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Caieiras FC.
