After 4 minutes, Pedro de Souza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monjolada and the Enzo F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Monjolada's Dedé Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Alvarenga in the 16th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Monjolada got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Moreira. In the 20th minute of the match Antônio Carlos Loureiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dedé Cabral skillfully saved the ball. Armandinho Pena hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Emanuel Alvarenga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Enzo F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Dedé Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natã Mesquita in the 28th minute of play. Dedé Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natã Mesquita in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natã Mesquita in the 31st minute of play forced Monjolada's goalkeeper Dedé Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Natã Mesquita in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dedé Cabral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Natã Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Natã Mesquita in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dedé Cabral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Enzo F.C's Narciso Netto got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Enzo F.C fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Enzo F.C's Emanuel Alvarenga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Emanuel Alvarengas short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Dedé Cabral to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Emanuel Alvarenga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Dedé Cabral made a huge save. The corner ended in Antônio Carlos Loureiro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Monjolada's Dedé Cabral did a great save. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Emanuel Alvarenga took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Dedé Cabral to make any attempt to save it.
