Júlio Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 6 minutes into the game, Caco de Amaral cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Moisés do Valle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 11th minute Júlio Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Júlio Valladares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Beto Bezerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Percy Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 22 minutes, Beto Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gangsters FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beto Bezerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Caco de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Júlio Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredão Gaúcho kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Caco de Amaral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moisés do Valle was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 38th minute, Júlio Valladares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moisés do Valle was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After some careless play in the Gangsters FC defense, Dráusio Mello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Moisés do Valle. The Gangsters FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Moisés do Valle should have stopped the shot. 47 minutes into the game, Corinthians's Júlio Valladares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moisés do Valle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Régis Quintal to make the kick off. Marcel Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Caco de Amaral in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moisés do Valle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Beto Bezerra's late challenge caught a Corinthians's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beto Bezerra helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st match minute, Gangsters FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Corinthians's Valdir Teles broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Moisés do Valle didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 65th minute, which inside left pole to 1-6. Corinthians's Caco de Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Júlio Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caco de Amaral in the 74th minute of play forced Gangsters FC's goalkeeper Moisés do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corinthians's Percy Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Régis Quintal in the 79th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Júlio Valladares made a precise shot to the right of Moisés do Valle. Gangsters FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. In the 89th minute, Caco de Amaral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Caco de Amaral kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Moisés do Valle. That made the score 1-8 in the 91 minute of play. Caco de Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Corinthians left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gangsters FC.
