A collision led to Democracia Socialista getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. 郝沙响 hit a great ball. Rodrigo Lago came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Beloslav Kotzakov could save by the left post. Beloslav Kotzakov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelson Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th match minute, Democracia Socialista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Túlio Cabral to maneuver through the defense. Nelson Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 23 minutes, Pedrinho Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Democracia Socialista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedrinho Veiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Túlio Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Thomás Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedrinho Veiga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thomás Vander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Delfim Macedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Beloslav Kotzakov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th minute Pedrinho Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Shot's Juarês da Cunha got a free kick in the 49th minute. Democracia Socialista's Pedrinho Veiga got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedrinho Veiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thomás Vander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Túlio Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beloslav Kotzakov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juarês da Cunha in the 58th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Shot's zone, Pedrinho Veiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomás Vander came out of the goal and Pedrinho Veiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Túlio Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Lago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beloslav Kotzakov. Democracia Socialista's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo Lago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 71st minute, Nelson Teles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute Rodrigo Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beloslav Kotzakov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedrinho Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Thomás Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 played minutes Shot got a freekick which was hit by Juarês da Cunha. Pedrinho Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 柳博光's late challenge caught a Shot's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 柳博光 helped the player get up and apologised. After 86 played minutes Democracia Socialista got a freekick which was hit by 柳博光. In the 92nd match minute, Democracia Socialista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 郝沙响 to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Democracia Socialista's Pedrinho Veiga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomás Vander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 96 minutes of play Shot's Juarês da Cunha was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 96th minute, Juarês da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shot's Thomás Vander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho Veiga in the 98th minute of play. Many of Democracia Socialista's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Democracia Socialista may have spent more time on the ball, but Shot were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
