Ituguacu SS's Gernando Hermes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Ituguacu SS from getting a goal against them. Dinei Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Paulo Vianna in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arí Antunes saved Clube Delta de Futebol from getting behind. If Dinei Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arí Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdo Munhoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th match minute, Clube Delta de Futebol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amauri Peres to maneuver through the defense. The wind increased when Luiz Paulo Vianna made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Clube Delta de Futebol booed when Ituguacu SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luan Urbano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dinei Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Gernando Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Valdo Munhoz came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Ituguacu SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdo Munhoz couldn't finish the play. Valdo Munhoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arí Antunes having to interfere. Severino Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Clube Delta de Futebol's Arí Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Paulo Vianna in the 75th minute of play. Valdo Munhoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Arí Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clube Delta de Futebol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ituguacu SS the free kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ituguacu SS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
