The audience thought a goal was coming when Quintana Seron got free with Léo de Carvalho in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Quintana Seron took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Léo de Carvalho. Léo de Carvalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Geovanni Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arlindo Sabóia, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Quintana Seron to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Psicodélico FC booed when Internazionale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldinho Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Psicodélico FC's Geovanni Diniz got control of the ball when Daniel Magalhães tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Daniel Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Geovanni Diniz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Quintana Seron might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Léo de Carvalho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Quintana Seron ran back to his position shaking his head. Cléberson Trigo hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. If Quintana Seron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quintana Seron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Internazionale's Léo de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quintana Seron in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quintana Seron in the 89th minute of play forced Internazionale's goalkeeper Léo de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute Quintana Seron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Quintana Seron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Psicodélico FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Quintana Seron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Léo de Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rafael Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Psicodélico FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
