Cipriano Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Gilen, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute, Raimundo Cerezo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jairo Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hílton Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Marciano Gilen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cipriano Cordeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. If Marciano Gilen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Call Me FC's Cipriano Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Gilen in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Marciano Gilen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cipriano Cordeiro was a little too slow when Marciano Gilen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-0. Jairo Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. João Pedro Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marciano Gilen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giovanni Pereira got free with Cipriano Cordeiro in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Giovanni Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cipriano Cordeiro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 49th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Vivaldo Leme.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jairo Carneiro was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Marciano Gilen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Cipriano Cordeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Call Me FC booed when Palmital SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Palmital SC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Vivaldo Leme hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the game, Call Me FC's Jailson Massa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Pedro Aguiar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Mané Marques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but João Pedro Aguiar made a huge save. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Palmital SC's goalkeeper João Pedro Aguiar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Amílton Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cipriano Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Gilen in the 74th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giovanni Pereira in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cipriano Cordeiro saved Call Me FC from getting behind. João Pedro Aguiar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jailson Massa in the 79th minute. Marciano Gilen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marciano Gilen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Cordeiro having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Amílton Pena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cipriano Cordeiro was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. After 86 played minutes Call Me FC got a freekick which was hit by Mané Marques. With a little luck, Palmital SC's João Pedro Aguiar got control of the ball when Jailson Massa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Giovanni Pereira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmital SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Call Me FC the free kick. 95 minutes into the match, Jailson Massa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Pedro Aguiar. Palmital SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jailson Massa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2.
