Psicodélico FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Luís Severo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patrick Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Raimundo Cerezo, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Pedro Luís Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Pedro Aguiar having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Raimundo Cerezo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmital SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Psicodélico FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of Palmital SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Psicodélico FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, João Pedro Aguiar, was totally fooled by Psicodélico FC's Dráuzio Soares, who 13 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Giovanni Pereira's late challenge caught a Psicodélico FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giovanni Pereira helped the player get up and apologised. Giovanni Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Marciano Gilen made a precise shot to the right of Geovanni Diniz. Psicodélico FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 27th minute, Manuel de Brito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palmital SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 34th minute Marciano Gilen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clemente Mesquita's late challenge caught a Psicodélico FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clemente Mesquita helped the player get up and apologised. Clemente Mesquita kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. If Quintana Seron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Pedro Luís Severo took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for João Pedro Aguiar to make any attempt to save it. After 43 played minutes Palmital SC got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Mesquita. Pedro Luís Severo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Pedro Aguiar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Luís Severo made a kick off. João Pedro Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luís Severo in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luís Severo in the 53rd minute of play forced Palmital SC's goalkeeper João Pedro Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Pedro Luís Severo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Quintana Seron struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. João Pedro Aguiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Psicodélico FC. João Pedro Aguiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luís Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marciano Gilen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Diniz having to interfere. Quintana Seron struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. João Pedro Aguiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Psicodélico FC. If Quintana Seron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marciano Gilen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Psicodélico FC's Geovanni Diniz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Psicodélico FC from getting a goal against them. If Pedro Luís Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Psicodélico FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Dráuzio Soares hit a great ball. Geovanni Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Gilen in the 86th minute of the match. If Quintana Seron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
