The supporters of Solidao SS booed when Marsal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robinho Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adhemar Soares got in the 9th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Vinícius Borges. This was a shot which ended in a score of 1-0. Simão Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Sousa having to interfere. Germano Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinícius Borges having to interfere. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marsal's goalkeeper Vinícius Borges, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Betão Schmidt struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Cássio Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marsal. In the 21st minute Germano Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinícius Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Germano Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Vinícius Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edinho Aparecido charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edinho Aparecido the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cássio Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Queiroz in the 29th minute of play. If Simão Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. A wasted opportunity for Marsal. Marsal's Vinícius Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano Moura in the 39th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Marsal's zone, Carlos Augusto dos Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinícius Borges came out of the goal and Carlos Augusto dos Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vinícius Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germano Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. If Germano Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simão Queiroz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Gilberto do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vinícius Borges came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Solidao SS's Edinho Aparecido. But to his dismay, Edinho Aparecido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Vinícius Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Augusto dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. When Germano Moura came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Solidao SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Germano Moura couldn't finish the play. Germano Moura took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vinícius Borges. Vinícius Borges dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Rodriguinho Ramalho kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Carlos Augusto dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Carlos Augusto dos Santos came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Solidao SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Augusto dos Santos couldn't finish the play. Betão Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Solidao SS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
