With his leg Válter Jacinto managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Cocelinho's André Luiz Urbano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 28th minute, Tostão Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cachoeira F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cocelinho the free kick. With a left leg Válter Jacinto saved Cachoeira F.C from getting behind. Tostão Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Jairo Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giovanni Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Nando Gerber hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Vladimir Marquez struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Válter Jacinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cocelinho. In the 91st match minute, Cocelinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimir Marquez to maneuver through the defense. Válter Jacinto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cachoeira F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cocelinho.
