Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vladimir Marquez started the match with the kick off. Kauã Corrêa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jairo Carneiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute Vladimir Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Podolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute Cocelinho were awarded a corner. Lúcio Couto went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Cocelinho's corner Lúcio Couto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Damian Podolski quite easily take care of the ball. In the 19th minute, Claudinho Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damian Podolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luiz Urbano in the 20th minute of the match. Kauã Corrêa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Carneiro having to interfere. Júlio da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Carneiro having to interfere. In the 29th minute José Carlos Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Podolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Júlio da Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Paulo Fernandez got free with Jairo Carneiro in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jairo Carneiro came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Itapitacai AD's Júlio da Silva. But to his dismay, Júlio da Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0.

André Luiz Urbano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Damian Podolski made a huge save. Damian Podolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Augusto Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. If José Paulo Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Cocelinho defense, Kauã Corrêa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jairo Carneiro. The Cocelinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Carneiro should have stopped the shot. Joélson Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Chaisiri Saejeer charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chaisiri Saejeer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Damian Podolski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 81st minute Vladimir Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Podolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Joélson Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the game, José Paulo Fernandez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jairo Carneiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Damian Podolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Marquez in the 97th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Itapitacai AD could leave the field as winners, despite Cocelinho having more of the ball for most of the match.
