Pedro Teles received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maicon Jacinto came out and tried to block the shot, but Pedro Teles slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. After a rather tough play, Cachoeira F.C's Diamantino Lopez got a free kick in the 8th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Assungui EC's Umberto Vides tried to score from far away in the 9th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Nando Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maicon Jacinto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pedro Teles showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Márcio de Castro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Válter Jacinto was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Assungui EC's Maicon Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vânderson Ferreira in the 26th minute of play. Márcio de Castro scored 2-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Válter Jacinto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Cachoeira F.C's Pedro Teles got a free kick in the 35th minute. After 37 played minutes, Assungui EC's Umberto Vides shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Válter Jacinto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Assungui EC reached it. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Vânderson Ferreira took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Maicon Jacinto to make any attempt to save it. Cachoeira F.C's Válter Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márcio de Castro in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Cachoeira F.C's Vânderson Ferreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maicon Jacinto narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vânderson Ferreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Cachoeira F.C's goalkeeper Válter Jacinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Márcio de Castro. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Vânderson Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachoeira F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Vânderson Ferreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maicon Jacinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vânderson Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maicon Jacinto having to interfere. Oséias Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Válter Jacinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agnaldo Melo in the 63rd minute of the match. Maicon Jacinto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vânderson Ferreira went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Válter Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agnaldo Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Assungui EC defense, Vânderson Ferreira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maicon Jacinto. The Assungui EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maicon Jacinto should have stopped the shot. In the 80th minute, Agnaldo Melo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Válter Jacinto. The goal made the score 5-2. When the referee ended the match the Cachoeira F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
