João Augusto Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durvalino Barral having to interfere. 7 minutes into the game, José Carlos Corrêa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. R. Flamengo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PRATTI FC the free kick. Tomás do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Fred Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fred Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás do Nascimento in the 13th minute of the match. Paulão da Silveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fred Alcântara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Tomás do Nascimento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fred Alcântara was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Fred Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulão da Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of PRATTI FC booed when C. R. Flamengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulão da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, João Augusto Vides notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of C. R. Flamengo's Durvalino Barral. Durvalino Barral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Olavo Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Durvalino Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Durvalino Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maicon Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Olavo Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Augusto Vides recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Olavo Araújo made the kick off in the second half. PRATTI FC's João Augusto Vides got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The PRATTI FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching C. R. Flamengo's performance. The match ended with a win for C. R. Flamengo.
