Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Contendas FC's Tião Santos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 10 played minutes Contendas FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Goiano. After 12 played minutes Serranos got a freekick which was hit by Geovanni Duarte. Kiko Severo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tião Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kiko Severo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademar Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Serranos's Cauã Vinhas got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Geovanni Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marquinhos Prata's late challenge caught a Serranos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marquinhos Prata helped the player get up and apologised. Marquinhos Prata kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Cauã Vinhas struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Fabrício Marinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Serranos. If Geovanni Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. If Ademar Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cauã Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ademar Sena got free with Kiko Severo in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Contendas FC's zone, Cauã Vinhas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabrício Marinho came out of the goal and Cauã Vinhas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
