After a rather tough play, Fugida AD's Manfredo Carioca got a free kick in the 29th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Pereba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Garcia came free, but Váldson Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Afonso Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Afonso Garcia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Afonso Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fugida AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Váldson Lopez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, Pereba FC's Gonçalo Santos got a free kick in the 60th minute. Váldson Lopez acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 61st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fabiano de Barros. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tarcisio Mota in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Váldson Lopez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Edgard Paraibano fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pereba FC's protests and gave Edgard Paraibano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th match minute, Pereba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Paraibano to maneuver through the defense. Fabiano de Barros didn't quite understand what happened when in the 66 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. 68 minutes into the game, Alessandro Rezende recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Váldson Lopez. Alessandro Rezende showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Váldson Lopez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Afonso Garcia in the 72nd minute. Pereba FC's Váldson Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Rezende in the 78th minute of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Alessandro Rezende managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fugida AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessandro Rezende was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Fugida AD's Váldson Lopez threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alessandro Rezende, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Afonso Garcia in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Váldson Lopez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Afonso Garcia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Váldson Lopez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Pereba FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Fugida AD's performance. The match ended with a win for Fugida AD.
