Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Elói Cardoso started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Alvaro's Patrick Breckenfeld got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 3rd match minute, Conceicas SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Sergipano to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nuno Toscano in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ediberto Lago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nuno Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ediberto Lago having to interfere. Nuno Toscano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ediberto Lago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. When Alvaro's Nuno Toscano in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Conceicas SC's goalie prevented a goal. Nuno Toscano struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Ediberto Lago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alvaro. Magno Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elói Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, Conceicas SC's Marcelo Sergipano got a free kick in the 21st minute. Ediberto Lago didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeremias Moraes went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ediberto Lago came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Alvaro's Jeremias Moraes. But to his dismay, Jeremias Moraes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ediberto Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Marcelo Sergipano charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelo Sergipano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th minute, Marcelo Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Victor Galvão sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Conceicas SC's Ediberto Lago didn't even have to move. After some careless play in the Conceicas SC defense, Jeremias Moraes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ediberto Lago. The Conceicas SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ediberto Lago should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Sergipano got free with Magno Pires in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ediberto Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The Conceicas SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Alvaro were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nuno Toscano was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Ediberto Lago successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Jeremias Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ediberto Lago having to interfere. After 64 minutes of play Conceicas SC's Marcelo Sergipano was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Jeremias Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nuno Toscano struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Ediberto Lago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alvaro. The supporters of Alvaro booed when Conceicas SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando de Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jeremias Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute Nuno Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ediberto Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardinho Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magno Pires having to interfere. After 82 played minutes Alvaro got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Breckenfeld. In the 85th match minute, Conceicas SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Téo Braga to maneuver through the defense. Ricardinho Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magno Pires having to interfere. Jeremias Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ediberto Lago having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Ricardinho Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magno Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
