Carlos Augusto Nogueira acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 5th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Davi Romero. In the 10th minute, Enrique de Amorim made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Augusto Nogueira. Vicente's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 14th minute, Enrique de Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Vicente's Custódio Amorim got a free kick in the 15th minute. A hard shot 17 in the game by Enrique de Amorim from a close distance when the talented Carlos Augusto Nogueira managed to make a qualified save. Vicente's players were relieved. Caio Moura hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Carlos Augusto Nogueira was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Davi Romero. Ademar da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquinho Nascimento having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Ediberto de Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vicente's supporters rose to their feet, but Ediberto de Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chiquinho Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the game, Enrique de Amorim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Carlos Augusto Nogueira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Enrique de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Augusto Nogueira having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Batovi got a freekick which was hit by Enrique de Amorim. Batovi's Enrique de Amorim got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ademar da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Ademar da Fonseca made the kick off in the second half. Josué Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Vicente's goal looked a bit too open when Frédson Almeida came free, but Carlos Augusto Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Batovi's goalkeeper Chiquinho Nascimento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arthur Paraense charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arthur Paraense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd minute, Arthur Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enrique de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Carlos Augusto Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Josué Félix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 played minutes, Batovi's Davi Romero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Nogueira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Batovi reached it. In the 86th match minute, Batovi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Novaes to maneuver through the defense. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Augusto Nogueira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Enrique de Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Augusto Nogueira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrique de Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. Batovi walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
