Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cafu Correia took the kick off in the first half of the match. With an all-out effort, Guimarães FC's Dudu França threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ezequiel Abreu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 9th match minute, Guimarães FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Paraibano to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 10 minutes, Roger Cosme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carualina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roger Cosme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Carualina's Cafu Correia got a free kick in the 13th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Ezequiel Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guimarães FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezequiel Abreu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dudu França breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the match, Dito Tande had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amadeu Vidal. Guimarães FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dito Tande was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 24 minutes into the game, Cafu Correia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carualina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guimarães FC the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Carualina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafu Correia to maneuver through the defense. Benê Falcão hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Wilfred de Vries hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Dito Tande hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Sérgio Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adriano Paraibano kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. When Carualina's Dito Tande in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guimarães FC's goalie prevented a goal. Amadeu Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dito Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Guimarães FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Wilfred de Vries hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dito Tande in the 44th minute of play forced Guimarães FC's goalkeeper Amadeu Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeu Vidal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Afonso Ferreira went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Carualina were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a little luck, Guimarães FC's Amadeu Vidal got control of the ball when Dito Tande tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the last second Amadeu Vidal throw himself and got hold of the ball when Cafu Correia in the 55thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Sérgio Fernandez struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Dudu França didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guimarães FC. Ezequiel Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amadeu Vidal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dito Tande went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 68 minutes into the match, Guimarães FC's goalkeeper Amadeu Vidal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dito Tande. Ezequiel Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dudu França having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Guimarães FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cafu Correia came free, but Amadeu Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 minutes of play, Guimarães FC's Ezequiel Abreu made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dudu França was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute, Sérgio Fernandez made a precise shot to the right of Dudu França. Carualina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Sérgio Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Dudu França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guimarães FC's Amadeu Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Ferreira in the 85th minute of play. Wilfred de Vries got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 93rd minute Cafu Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Dito Tande had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amadeu Vidal. Guimarães FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dito Tande was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. The Carualina supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Carualina would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
