Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gilson Queiroz started the match with the kick off. After having played for 8 minutes, Luiz Eduardo Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oiler FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Eduardo Braga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vladimir da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Elivélton Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Eduardo Braga in the 13th minute of the match. FÊNIX F. C's Gilson Queiroz got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Ramón Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yan Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Elivélton Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elivélton Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yan Valadares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Breno Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Luiz Eduardo Braga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Elivélton Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 30th minute Luiz Eduardo Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elivélton Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 minutes, Luiz Eduardo Braga made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. FÊNIX F. C's Elivélton Moraes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Luiz Eduardo Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elivélton Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Eduardo Braga's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Oiler FC's Marcus Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilson Queiroz in the 43rd minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Eduardo Braga to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Gilson Queiroz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FÊNIX F. C and the Oiler FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gilson Queiroz hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After 59 minutes of play, FÊNIX F. C's Gilson Queiroz made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcus Rezende was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcus Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilson Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 74 minutes of play, FÊNIX F. C's Gilson Queiroz made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcus Rezende was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cássio Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Oiler FC's Luiz Eduardo Braga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. Elivélton Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Eduardo Braga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oiler FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
