Cesinha Rosado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Fabiano Costa in the 4th minute. Tony Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Adriano Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bom Repouso Esporte Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Adriano Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renan Corrêa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th match minute, Bom Repouso Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Gustavo Correia to maneuver through the defense. Renan Corrêa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moisés Paes went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 15 minutes into the match, Ruy Barbosa F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Rocha came free, but Renan Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Leme in the 18th minute of play forced Ruy Barbosa F.C's goalkeeper Renan Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renan Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moisés Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the game, Moisés Paes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Renan Corrêa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute, Adriano Rocha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bom Repouso Esporte Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Renan Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Leme in the 38th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adriano Rocha in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renan Corrêa saved Ruy Barbosa F.C from getting behind. In the 41st match minute, Ruy Barbosa F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Carlos Lopes to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the game, Bom Repouso Esporte Clube's Adriano Rocha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renan Corrêa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After the first half Bom Repouso Esporte Clube were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Luiz Fabiano Costa made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Bom Repouso Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Américo Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Ruy Barbosa F.C's Renan Corrêa got control of the ball when Adriano Rocha tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Adriano Rocha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Renan Corrêa. That made the score 0-6 in the 59 minute of play. After 62 played minutes Bom Repouso Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Franklin Simão. After 66 played minutes Ruy Barbosa F.C got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Negri. Renan Corrêa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Gustavo Correia in the 68th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Adriano Rocha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Renan Corrêa. Ruy Barbosa F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adriano Rocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Adriano Rocha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Renan Corrêa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Renan Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto Leme in the 80th minute of the match. Renan Corrêa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Beto Leme went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Adriano Rocha had several of the Ruy Barbosa F.C's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 87 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-9 score and a disappointed Renan Corrêa as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a little luck, Ruy Barbosa F.C's Renan Corrêa got control of the ball when Adriano Rocha tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 99 minutes, Moisés Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bom Repouso Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moisés Paes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
