Conrado de Castro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luiz Fábio Silveira hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Luiz Fábio Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Luís Guilherme Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, AKIDAWANUS's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fábio Silveira came free, but Luís Guilherme Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, AKIDAWANUS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademir Vergílio to maneuver through the defense. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luiz Fábio Silveira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Itapina's goal looked a bit too open when Ademir Vergílio came free, but Conrado de Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in AKIDAWANUS's zone, Teodoro Gomes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Guilherme Macedo came out of the goal and Teodoro Gomes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilberto de Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fábio Silveira in the 57th minute of play forced AKIDAWANUS's goalkeeper Luís Guilherme Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Luiz Fábio Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itapina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Fábio Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 81 played minutes, AKIDAWANUS's Víktor Jacinto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Conrado de Castro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AKIDAWANUS reached it. In the 84th match minute, Itapina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauan Simão to maneuver through the defense. Noel Cardozo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Conrado de Castro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luís Guilherme Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Luís Guilherme Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Gomes in the 89th minute of the match. AKIDAWANUS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
