Luciano Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilmar Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the game, Gerson Vinhas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jinipabu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hangar 7 the free kick. Gerson Vinhas hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Hangar 7's Diogo Zanette broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 15 minutes into the match, Pedro Augusto de Carvalho notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Hangar 7's Luciano Veiga. Luciano Veiga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 21 minutes into the match, Hangar 7's goalkeeper Luciano Veiga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Augusto de Carvalho. The supporters of Hangar 7 booed when Jinipabu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerson Vinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Vítor Quaresma kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. If Nilmar Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano do Valle charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristiano do Valle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 34 played minutes Hangar 7 got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano do Valle. After 36 minutes, Nico Couto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hangar 7 and the Jinipabu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nico Couto hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The supporters of Hangar 7 booed when Jinipabu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerson Vinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicente Tepedino hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nilmar Maia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Jinipabu's goal looked a bit too open when Nilson Saldanha came free, but João Francisco Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hangar 7's Luciano Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar Maia in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jinipabu's Gerson Vinhas got a free kick in the 57th minute. If Nilmar Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Jinipabu's Pedro Augusto de Carvalho in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hangar 7's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Jinipabu getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Gerson Vinhas hit a great ball. Luciano Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilmar Maia in the 75th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Luís Fabiano Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hangar 7's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Fabiano Pereira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Francisco Peres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Nico Couto was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. In the 80th minute, Nico Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luciano Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerson Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hangar 7 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Jinipabu.
