Esporte Clube Vitória's Ricardo Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válbson Barbosa in the 6th minute of play. Fernandinho da Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adhemar Correia in the 9th minute of play. Fernandinho da Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renatinho Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Adhemar Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Andrade EC's Jailson Ramos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Jailson Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernandinho da Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adhemar Correia in the 25th minute of play. Rogério de Andrade took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernandinho da Rocha. Fernandinho da Rocha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jailson Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. With 42 minutes on the clock, Diego Lopez commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Andrade EC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! Fernandinho da Rocha went to the wrong direction when Renatinho Oliveira was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Ricardo Lopes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jailson Ramos went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score.

The wind increased when Jailson Ramos made the kick off in the second half. Jailson Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ricardo Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Esporte Clube Vitória got a freekick which was hit by Rogério de Andrade. Jailson Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 played minutes Andrade EC got a freekick which was hit by Jailson Paranaense. 70 minutes into the game, Andrade EC's Jailson Ramos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Lopes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After having played for 74 minutes, Adhemar Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esporte Clube Vitória's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adhemar Correia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafinha Barbosa during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Esporte Clube Vitória was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafinha Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Diego Guimarães managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esporte Clube Vitória's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Guimarães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernandinho da Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jailson Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Lopes having to interfere. Ricardo Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jailson Ramos in the 90th minute of play. After 94 played minutes Andrade EC got a freekick which was hit by Jailson Paranaense. If Adhemar Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrade EC's Fernandinho da Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogério de Andrade in the 99th minute of play. Andrade EC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
