The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edvaldo Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamim Pena in the 3rd minute of the match. Mazinho Loureiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamim Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 13 played minutes Arandu got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Breckenfeld. After a rather tough play, Lokitos Football Club's Nestor Oliveira got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Basílio Baptista made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Zeca Urbano sent off a good shot on target. Benjamim Pena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edvaldo Bueno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeca Urbano got free with Basílio Baptista in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Arandu! The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mazinho Loureiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lokitos Football Club's Basílio Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeca Urbano in the 51st minute of play. Edvaldo Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamim Pena in the 55th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Lokitos Football Club's Benjamim Pena ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edvaldo Bueno. Edvaldo Bueno yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Lokitos Football Club's César Mazza got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute of the match Dedê Lara shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basílio Baptista showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Lokitos Football Club getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Nestor Oliveira hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Betão Paiva during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71st match minute, Lokitos Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betão Paiva to maneuver through the defense. Basílio Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazinho Loureiro in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute of the match, Magno Gaúcho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edvaldo Bueno was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Magno Gaúchos short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Edvaldo Bueno to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mazinho Loureiro struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Basílio Baptista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arandu. Lokitos Football Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jefferson Abreu in the 91st minute. A nice corner shot did that Jefferson Abreu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edvaldo Bueno quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Magno Gaúcho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Edvaldo Bueno made a huge save. Cássio Breckenfeld hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Arandu supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lokitos Football Club's performance. The match ended with a win for Lokitos Football Club.
