Sandrinho de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir Ceresso in the 11th minute of play. Vitório Correia hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Leandro Velasco notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of LeloO F.c.'s Wilson Paranaense. Wilson Paranaense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Velasco in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Paranaense saved LeloO F.c. from getting behind. When %teams%'s Valdir Ceresso was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-1 just inside the left pole, 27 minutes into the game. Sandrinho de Godoi was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Wilson Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Velasco in the 33rd minute of play forced LeloO F.c.'s goalkeeper Wilson Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leandro Velasco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Paranaense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Wilson Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 played minutes LeloO F.c. got a freekick which was hit by Vitório Correia. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by LeloO F.c.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Válbson da Costa was slow to take the kick. During this time Itaroquem's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Itaroquem's Válbson da Costa to fire away a dangerous shot which Wilson Paranaense despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Artur Siqueira was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Valdir Ceresso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the game, Válbson da Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itaroquem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LeloO F.c. the free kick. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Itaroquem! The referee gave LeloO F.c. a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vicente Sena, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Itaroquem's Sandrinho de Godoi. 2-1. Wanderson Figueiredo charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wanderson Figueiredo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Itaroquem getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Wanderson Figueiredo hit a great ball. Sandrinho de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manoel Tepedino in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Manoel Tepedino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Itaroquem defense, Valdir Ceresso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sandrinho de Godoi. The Itaroquem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sandrinho de Godoi should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Itaroquem's zone, Manoel Tepedino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandrinho de Godoi came out of the goal and Manoel Tepedino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leandro Velasco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Wilson Paranaense made a huge save. If Valdir Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Valdir Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot. LeloO F.c.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Valdir Ceresso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandrinho de Godoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leandro Velasco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Wilson Paranaense made a huge save. Manoel Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandrinho de Godoi having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Valdir Ceresso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When LeloO F.c.'s Manoel Tepedino in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Itaroquem's goalie prevented a goal. LeloO F.c.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
