Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) FC Marley's Claudinei Silveira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Ronaldo Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 4th play minutes Cristiano Alcântara shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Juninho Marinho and just under the crossbar into goal. Diguinho Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diguinho Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Juninho Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, esgna gado's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Garcia came free, but Reynaldo Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudinei Silveira in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reynaldo Cruz saved esgna gado from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in FC Marley's zone, Diguinho Paraense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juninho Marinho came out of the goal and Diguinho Paraense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claudinei Silveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reynaldo Cruz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Eliézer Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Reynaldo Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudinei Silveira in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reynaldo Cruz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reynaldo Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliézer Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC Marley booed when esgna gado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredão Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. esgna gado's Reynaldo Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Silveira in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Cristiano Alcântara made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Filipe Garcia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Marley and the esgna gado players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Marley getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Filipe Garcia hit a great ball. When Diguinho Paraense came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the esgna gado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diguinho Paraense couldn't finish the play. Reynaldo Cruz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliézer Silveira went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Diguinho Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliézer Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Reynaldo Cruz managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when FC Marley's Eliézer Silveira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Claudinei Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Diguinho Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 played minutes, esgna gado's Ricardo Bittencourt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Juninho Marinho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in esgna gado reached it. Claudinei Silveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reynaldo Cruz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Claudinei Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Cruz having to interfere. If Eliézer Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
