Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After 3 minutes, Hélio Fernandes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Camargos and the Sumidor FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hélio Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After 4 played minutes, Sumidor FC's Didi de Lara shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulo Vergílio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sumidor FC reached it. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 6th minute, but Paulo Vergílio got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Camargos hanging dry this time. 6 minutes into the game, Baltazar Campidelis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Camargos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sumidor FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Camargos's Baltazar Campidelis got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 7th minute of the match, Deivid Paulista got a very nice opportunity to score, but Paulo Vergílio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dário Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Délio Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Hélio Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Deivid Paulista reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paulo Vergílio. The goal made the score 1-0. If Dário Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvaldo Motta during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Danilo Alvarenga came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Sumidor FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Alvarenga couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute João Pedro Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Vergílio made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Deivid Paulista sent off a good shot on target. Camargos's Paulo Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pedro Souza in the 34th minute of play. If Dário Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Camargos's goalkeeper Paulo Vergílio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Pedro Souza in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Vergílio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Pedro Souza was the one to do the kick off. Deivid Paulista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Vergílio having to interfere. After 57 played minutes Camargos got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Campidelis. Sumidor FC's Deivid Paulista got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If João Pedro Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Camargos's goal looked a bit too open when João Pedro Souza came free, but Paulo Vergílio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 67th minute of the match Hélio Fernandes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hélio Fernandes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Deivid Paulista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Vergílio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Pedro Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Sumidor FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
