But to his dismay, Jonathan Madureira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Jonathan Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlando da Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Caco Hermes made a huge save. Praiao SC's Jonathan Madureira got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonathan Madureira made a kick off. Orlando da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Caco Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matheus Proença got free with Alexsandro Ramalho in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Orlando da Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Praiao SC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos Garcia came free, but Alexsandro Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Bartolomeu EC booed when Praiao SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Paulo Gerber didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Jonathan Madureira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Caco Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matheus Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlinhos Garcia was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 90th minute. Bartolomeu EC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Orlando da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Caco Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Praiao SC had played much better football throughout.
