Legião Futebol Clube's Luiz Guilherme Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deivid Bezerra in the 36th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Deivid Bezerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nelson Vale got free with Fred Sabóia in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raí Valle to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Hugo de Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 played minutes Legião Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Nelson Vale. 57 minutes into the match, grumpycat club's Deivid Bezerra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Guilherme Netto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind grumpycat club's goalkeeper Fred Sabóia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fred Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raí Valle in the 62nd minute of the match. If Nelson Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raí Valle in the 68th minute of play forced grumpycat club's goalkeeper Fred Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Raí Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caetano Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raí Valle succeeded in the game's 75th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind grumpycat club's goalkeeper Fred Sabóia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Gaspar in the 81st minute of play forced grumpycat club's goalkeeper Fred Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Caetano Gaspar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Legião Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Fred Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Gaspar in the 87th minute of play. After a rather tough play, grumpycat club's Deivid Bezerra got a free kick in the 89th minute. Fred Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raí Valle in the 91st minute of play. Caetano Gaspar struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Fred Sabóia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Legião Futebol Clube. After 94 minutes of play, Legião Futebol Clube's Caetano Gaspar made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fred Sabóia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Legião Futebol Clube were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
