Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gildo Arantes kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudinei Fontes in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Álvaro Guimarães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cavunge's Gildo Arantes was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 4th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Noel Costas short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Diogo de Sousa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildo Arantes in the 11th minute of play forced Cacutu's goalkeeper Diogo de Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel de Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th match minute, Cacutu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugênio Antunes to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildo Arantes in the 21st minute of play forced Cacutu's goalkeeper Diogo de Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 22 in the game by Gildo Arantes from a close distance when the talented Diogo de Sousa managed to make a qualified save. Cacutu's players were relieved. Noel Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo de Sousa having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cacutu's Eugênio Antunes got a free kick in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Cacutu's goalkeeper Diogo de Sousa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Noel Costa. After 30 minutes, Genílson Peixoto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cacutu and the Cavunge players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes Cacutu got a freekick which was hit by Genílson Peixoto. In the 31st minute of the match Wanderson Palmeira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diogo de Sousa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Diogo de Sousa made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Noel Costa sent off a good shot on target. Noel Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Diogo de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gildo Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo de Sousa having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudinei Fontes to make the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Manuel de Almeida got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Noel Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gildo Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 minutes of play, Cavunge's Noel Costa made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diogo de Sousa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Noel Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gildo Arantes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diogo de Sousa having to make a save. Diogo de Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Costa in the 73rd minute of play. In the 77th minute Gildo Arantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo de Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gildo Arantes scored 4-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diogo de Sousa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Gildo Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Cavunge's Gildo Arantes in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cacutu's goalie prevented a goal. Cavunge's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
