Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when José Augusto Trancoso made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 minutes, Marcus das Neves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cacutu and the O Pudim players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcus das Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After 5 played minutes O Pudim got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fábio Berger. José Augusto Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zézinho de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Manuel de Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Gilmar Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. O Pudim's Tião Sabóia got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vitório Viana charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vitório Viana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. José Augusto Trancoso scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diogo de Sousa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luís Fábio Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, José Augusto Trancoso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diogo de Sousa. Cacutu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Augusto Trancoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 30th match minute, O Pudim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Prata to maneuver through the defense. After 37 played minutes O Pudim got a freekick which was hit by Moisés Paulista. After having played for 38 minutes, Claudinei Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cacutu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinei Fontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 39 minutes, Renan Brasil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the O Pudim and the Cacutu players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, O Pudim's Renan Brasil got a free kick in the 40th minute. O Pudim's Gilmar Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Fontes in the 41st minute of play. In the 47thth minute of the game Claudinei Fontes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but O Pudim's Gilmar Romero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The wind increased when Claudinei Fontes made the kick off in the second half. When José Augusto Trancoso came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the O Pudim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Augusto Trancoso couldn't finish the play. The supporters of O Pudim booed when Cacutu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waldemar Peixoto during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 57 played minutes O Pudim got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Peixoto. Manuel de Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diogo de Sousa didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when O Pudim's Nuno Prata shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. After 71 played minutes O Pudim got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Prata. In the 72nd minute, Chicão Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Manuel de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chicão Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Diogo de Sousa made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Tião Sabóia sent off a good shot on target. After taking down the ball on Cacutu's corner Cássio Madureira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gilmar Romero quite easily take care of the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched O Pudim eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
