The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Draken Fotbollförening's Cássio Abreu got a free kick in the 10th minute. Cássio Abreu's late challenge caught a Guamirim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cássio Abreu helped the player get up and apologised. After 13 played minutes Draken Fotbollförening got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Abreu. When Hugo Macedo came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Draken Fotbollförening fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Macedo couldn't finish the play. When Jânio Paulista came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Guamirim fans jumped to their feet. The supporters of Guamirim booed when Draken Fotbollförening was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fernando de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Draken Fotbollförening's Raí Esteves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Urbano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 31st match minute, Draken Fotbollförening was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Frank Palmeira, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Conrado Santana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jânio Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Draken Fotbollförening's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Renato Passos came free, but Conrado Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Roberto Moreira hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. A nice corner shot did that Frank Palmeira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Conrado Santana quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jânio Paulista to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Draken Fotbollförening getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Oséias Arruda hit a great ball. Conrado Santana acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 53rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Frank Palmeira. Draken Fotbollförening's Conrado Santana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Draken Fotbollförening from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the game, Jânio Paulista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Conrado Santana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jânio Paulista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jânio Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Renato Passos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Conrado Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guamirim's goalkeeper Alex Urbano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paulo Renato Passos in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Conrado Santana, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Conrado Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jânio Paulista, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After a rather tough play, Draken Fotbollförening's Luiz Fernando de Almeida got a free kick in the 90th minute. Paulo Renato Passos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jânio Paulista might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Conrado Santana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jânio Paulista ran back to his position shaking his head. The Draken Fotbollförening supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Guamirim's performance. The match ended with a win for Guamirim.
