Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Róbson Catarinense started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Sidnei Ferraz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tumiritinga AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Sidnei Ferraz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murillo Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th match minute, Tumiritinga AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitinho Netto to maneuver through the defense. Cássio Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Róbson Catarinense in the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of L.Kings F.C. booed when Tumiritinga AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidnei Ferraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute Cacá Damião shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murillo Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murillo Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cacá Damião in the 29th minute of play. L.Kings F.C.'s Murillo Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Sergipano in the 31st minute of play. Tumiritinga AD's Cássio Velasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Tumiritinga AD from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Chaves during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Sergipano to strike the kick off in the second half. Lúcio Santos's late challenge caught a Tumiritinga AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After having played for 95 minutes, Marco Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tumiritinga AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Sergipano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
