The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Cléberson Brasil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robinho Guerra was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Natanael do Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, da Loop's goal looked a bit too open when Cléberson Brasil came free, but Robinho Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for da Loop! Erasmo Arruda walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Robinho Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evandro Quirino in the 38th minute of play. Robinho Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evandro Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. If Evandro Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cléberson Brasil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Robinho Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evandro Quirino in the 51st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in da Loop's zone, Cléberson Brasil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robinho Guerra came out of the goal and Cléberson Brasil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gláuber Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natanael do Nascimento in the 55th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, da Loop's Hélio Bueno got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute, Evandro Quirino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gláuber Arce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesinha Magalhães in the 64th minute of play. Natanael do Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gláuber Arce having to interfere. If Evandro Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cléberson Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Robinho Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cesinha Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gláuber Arce having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Cesinha Magalhães put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gláuber Arce. Robinho Guerra acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 80th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Vladimir Porto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natanael do Nascimento in the 83rd minute of play forced Sengo SS's goalkeeper Gláuber Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natanael do Nascimento hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Cléberson Brasil in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Robinho Guerra, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 89th minute, da Loop's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cléberson Brasil fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. José Camargo kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Cléberson Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robinho Guerra having to interfere.
