The supporters of Nankatsu FC booed when U.S. Palermo Uxx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovanni Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zézinho Guedes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernesto Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Washington Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Washington Massa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Gaúcho having to interfere. A collision led to U.S. Palermo Uxx getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Sidney Valladares hit a great ball. André Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Bertassi in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute of the match, Zézinho Guedes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ernesto Gaúcho was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 25 played minutes U.S. Palermo Uxx got a freekick which was hit by Lino Batista. Benjamim Motta charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benjamim Motta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Nankatsu FC's Benjamim Motta got a free kick in the 26th minute. Emílio Bertassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. André Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Washington Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernesto Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Washington Massa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Washington Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ernesto Gaúcho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Washington Massa to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, U.S. Palermo Uxx's goal looked a bit too open when Washington Massa came free, but Ernesto Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 54 minutes, Washington Massa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nankatsu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Washington Massa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Washington Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Nankatsu FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Zézinho Guedes hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, U.S. Palermo Uxx's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Guedes came free, but Ernesto Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Zézinho Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nankatsu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zézinho Guedes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Gaúcho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Washington Massa, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 75 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ernesto Gaúcho was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 77 minutes, Tomás de Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U.S. Palermo Uxx and the Nankatsu FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to U.S. Palermo Uxx getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Tomás de Azevedo hit a great ball. Ernesto Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zézinho Guedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Zézinho Guedes might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernesto Gaúcho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zézinho Guedes ran back to his position shaking his head. Zézinho Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ernesto Gaúcho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in U.S. Palermo Uxx's zone, Washington Massa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Gaúcho came out of the goal and Washington Massa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the game, Sidney Valladares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U.S. Palermo Uxx's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nankatsu FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, U.S. Palermo Uxx's Sidney Valladares got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute of the match Edvaldo Vergílio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernesto Gaúcho skillfully saved the ball. If Washington Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
