Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Oswaldo da Rocha started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Buritis EC's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Toledo came free, but Benedito Neiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th minute, William de Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonçalo Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th minute, Álvaro Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Benedito Neiva successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Elder Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Marco Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Laércio Vianna fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itapeacu's protests and gave Laércio Vianna a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Itapeacu's Laércio Vianna got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute, William de Brito made a precise shot to the right of Benedito Neiva. Buritis EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Cesinha Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedito Neiva having to interfere. Elder Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 played minutes Itapeacu got a freekick which was hit by Laércio Vianna. Marco Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswaldo da Rocha in the 46th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesinha Toscano to make the kick off. Álvaro Macedo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, William de Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itapeacu's supporters rose to their feet, but William de Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedito Neiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cesinha Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Itapeacu's goalkeeper Marco Paiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cesinha Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Benedito Neiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Buritis EC's Jardel Senna got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 78thth minute of the game Oswaldo da Rocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itapeacu's Marco Paiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Oswaldo da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. William de Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Benedito Neiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
