Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jefferson Cerezo kicked off to start the match. When Jefferson Cerezo came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Poxoreu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jefferson Cerezo couldn't finish the play. Adalberto Mineiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ediberto Viana went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ediberto Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Adalberto Mineiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Itanhomy getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Denílson Xavier hit a great ball. After taking down the ball on Itanhomy's corner José Esteves fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Juarês Araújo quite easily take care of the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Jailson Recife was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poxoreu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itanhomy the free kick. A collision led to Poxoreu getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Jailson Recife hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Itanhomy's José Esteves broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Poxoreu's Geovani Cabral shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 21st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Adalberto Mineiro but with some difficulty. 22 minutes into the game, Jefferson Cerezo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adalberto Mineiro. Jefferson Cerezo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Itanhomy's Adalberto Mineiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jefferson Cerezo in the 25th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ediberto Viana got free with Adalberto Mineiro in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Poxoreu's Adalberto Mineiro threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jefferson Cerezo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Poxoreu booed when Itanhomy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denílson Xavier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jefferson Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Adalberto Mineiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Poxoreu's Ediberto Viana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adalberto Mineiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 41stth minute of the game Ediberto Viana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itanhomy's Adalberto Mineiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jefferson Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Adalberto Mineiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ediberto Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jefferson Cerezo in the 47th minute of play forced Itanhomy's goalkeeper Adalberto Mineiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
The wind increased when Denílson Xavier made the kick off in the second half. Diego Barral charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Barral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Itanhomy getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Diego Barral hit a great ball. Jefferson Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Adalberto Mineiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Poxoreu's Jefferson Cerezo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Geraldo Vander got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 5-0 became the score in the 65th minute when Jefferson Cerezo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jefferson Cerezo in the 69th minute of play forced Itanhomy's goalkeeper Adalberto Mineiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ediberto Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adalberto Mineiro having to interfere. After 74 played minutes Poxoreu got a freekick which was hit by Jailson Recife. In the 76thth minute of the game Jefferson Cerezo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itanhomy's Adalberto Mineiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adalberto Mineiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jefferson Cerezo in the 79th minute of play. Adalberto Mineiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jefferson Cerezo went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Jefferson Cerezo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jefferson Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Poxoreu booed when Itanhomy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geraldo Vander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Poxoreu were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Itanhomy for a fine match.
