After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Viljar Reinumägi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsenal-RN's supporters rose to their feet, but Viljar Reinumägi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conrado Barral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Arsenal-RN's zone, Tales Rezende stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Percy Guerra came out of the goal and Tales Rezende tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arsenal-RN's Percy Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Bittencourt in the 22nd minute of play. Conrado Barral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viljar Reinumägi's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Alexandre Bittencourt hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After 28 minutes, Alexandre Bittencourt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OFF and the Arsenal-RN players grew even worse after the yellow card. Conrado Barral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aloísio Machado's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the game, Tales Rezende was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OFF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arsenal-RN the free kick. A collision led to OFF getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Tales Rezende hit a great ball. Toninho Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes OFF got a freekick which was hit by Tales Rezende. Arsenal-RN's Percy Guerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Arsenal-RN from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd minute, Viljar Reinumägi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The OFF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Arsenal-RN were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexandre Bittencourt to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Viljar Reinumägi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexandre Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percy Guerra having to interfere. Alexandre Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Barral having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, OFF's goalkeeper Conrado Barral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viljar Reinumägi. After 99 minutes OFF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Diamantino Vides who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Diamantino Vides got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Conrado Barral quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
